In October of each year, Dutch Design Week (DDW) takes place in Eindhoven. Our festival is recognized as one of the world’s leading design events. Showcasing the work and ideas of over 2,600 designers, DDW attracts more than 300,000 visitors from around the globe. Spread across 110+ locations in the city, the event features a great variety of exhibitions, lectures, award ceremonies, events, debates, and festive gatherings.
DDW concentrates on the design of the future and the future of design. We aim to show how designers from around the world shape a positive future and to strengthen the position and meaning of Dutch designers.
Our festival is committed to the development and exchange of expertise and talent. The design profession increasingly focuses on social and other relevant issues. We came to the following perspectives to reflect what our society needs and drive a lot of designers:
Thriving Planet
Living Environment
Digital Futures
Health & Wellbeing
Equal Society
