World Design Weeks presents its Impact Report titled Better by Design. How design weeks make their places better, the world over.
Developed in collaboration with Images&Co, Design Manchester, and Gdynia Design Days, this report compiles insights and survey responses from 28 WDW member organizations.
The report's first phase offers a snapshot of member organizations' structures, funding, objectives, and programs.
It includes perspectives from workshops intertwined with survey analysis, covering legal forms, funding sources, festival scale, audience size, planning duration, stakeholder importance, monitoring methods, and perceived benefits to local areas.
The second part features case studies illustrating placemaking, audience research, community engagement, evaluation methods, and economic analysis.
