An event that invites professionals and creative studios, schools and universities, and companies from around the world to be part of an unconventional design showcase. The event will take place on October 15, 16, and 17, 2025, at the Parking Gallery of LCI Barcelona.

This year's theme revolves around creative resilience within the framework of Design for the Human Future. It aims to explore how creativity and design can foster resilience in the face of current and future challenges, from sustainability to adaptability in a changing context.

To do this, UNDERGROUND BDW 2025 adopts the metaphor of "Lessons from the Moon." Just as the design of a lunar habitat requires meticulous planning and efficient resource management, design on Earth must integrate strategies of sustainability, efficiency, and circularity to address an increasingly uncertain future.

The Moon, with its extreme harshness, serves as a testing ground for new design models capable of generating a positive impact on our reality.

UNDERGROUND BDW seeks participants with innovative and experimental proposals that help build a more sustainable and human future.

Creative studios, schools and universities, companies, and professionals working on design projects aligned with environmental preservation and social well-being now have the opportunity to be part of this emerging platform.

After the success of its first edition in 2024, UNDERGROUND BDW returns with the intention of establishing itself as a reference space for disruptive and visionary proposals.

The event offers a platform for visibility for transformative ideas, promoting projects that contribute to the creation of systems, spaces, and societies that are more resilient and prepared to face the challenges of the future.

How to participate?

Interested individuals and entities can submit their proposals through the participation form. The call for submissions will remain open until May 31.
