Tijuana Design Week 2024

Tijuana Design Week 2024 in partnership with World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024 invites designers to participate in a diverse program featuring activities that embrace “Expanded Present” an expanded vision of our contemporary time, where design becomes present in all the dimensions of time, and opens a reflection upon the history, the identity and the outcome of the city, the cross-border region and the global environment.

The festival will be held from May 1 to 5, 2024 in different venues including Centro Cultural Tijuana, Escuela Libre de Arquitectura, Matiz Estudio, among others around the Tijuana region and aims to foster interdisciplinary links from a community perspective through events across all design disciplines. 

This expanded concept of time is a platform for analysis, response and creation, where the past, present and future of design come together and interact all at once; namely, their boundaries become blurry and therefore are perceived as interconnected elements, rather than isolated segments.
